Florence: Hunt for the gunman
The Police
have released identikit images of the man who injured Father Paolo Brogi, 41, secretary of the Archbishop of Florence Giuseppe Betori, by shooting
him, last Friday.
The police sketch, based on the descriptions from the two victims, is an important element to shed light on what happened that night.

Last Friday, the man, after entering the offices of the Florentine Curia, fired on Father Paolo Brogi, injuring him in the abdomen, and before fleeing, he threatened Archbishop Giuseppe Betori with the same gun, holding it to his head.
The sketch prepared by the forensic police depicts the aggressor as a man from 60 to 70 years old, about 175 cm tall (6 feet 8 inches), gray-haired, with unkempt beard, wearing a cap.
