Trio Presidency
The Presidency of the Eu Council rotates every 6 months among the Eu member states. Continuity between
presidencies is provided by the so-called Trio Presidency, established by the Lisbon Treaty in 2007, under which three consecutive presidencies
agree on a common program and ensure consistency in the work of the Council over an 18-month period.
