Lyon: Pansa meets Interpol's top brass

Police Chief Alessandro Pansa met Interpol Secretary General Ronald D. Noble yesterday, in Lyon (France). He was accompanied by Prefect Francesco Cirillo, Deputy Director General of Public Security and Criminal Police Director, and Filippo Dispenza, Cagliari Chief Constable and Interpol Executive Committee delegate for Europe.

During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen international cooperation against transnational crime in the fields of asset recovery, match-fixing in football and cybercrime, also in view of Italy's participation in the new Interpol Global Complex for Innovation, a cutting-edge facility to fight cybercrime to be launched next autumn in Singapore.
